Cars & Insurances

• All cars, licensed for use on public roads or not, may take part. With their signature on the entry-form participants assure that a third-party insurance exists.
• For cars not licensed for the use on public roads as well as for vintage cars a short term third-party insurance has to be presented to us at our office before start of course.
• Please note that unfortunately it is not possible to participate during public driving on Wednesday on the Nordschleife with cars that are not licensed for use on public roads.
• An insurance for cars which are licensed for test drives only is not valid for the participation in the course at the Nürburging.
• The Nürburgring GmbH reserves the right to exclude any vehicle exceeding the legal sound limits (max. 92 dB (A) = EU Standard). This does not concern cars which are licensed for use on public roads.
• Non-tread tyres (slicks) are not permitted.

Insurances

All participants are covered by a third-party organizer insurance as well as by a sport accident insurance corresponding with the regulations of the ADAC/DMSB taken out with the Gothaer Allgemeine Versicherungs AG by the organizers. The German car insurance will be in effect during the course because it is not the aim neither during training nor at the finishing test to reach maximum speed.
