Press Release dd. 20.06.2011
Scuderia Hanseat back at the Nürburgring
From October 3 to October 6, 2011 the traditional and internationally renowned autumn course of the Hamburg "School for Safer Driving" will be executed on the Nordschleife and on the Grand Prix track.
According to Gudrun Pauli, Manageress of the Scuderia Hanseat, there is a new positive dialogue between the race track operators/owners and Scuderia Hanseat in order to secure this traditional event in May and in September also in future.
The statement of Jörg Lindner, Manager of the Nürburgring Automotive GmbH, also sounds optimistically: "We are glad to be able to continue the cooperation with the Scuderia Hanseat. Motor sport is at the centre of all activities at the Ring. Together with the Scuderia Hanseat GmbH we continue motor sport tradition at the Nürburgring and by this maintain a piece of Nürburgring history."
Gudrun Pauli: "We are certainly pleased about this statement made by Mr. Lindner which represents a future base for a constructive and trustful cooperation."
Scuderia Hanseat founded 1958 by Helmut Rathjen und Günther Isenbügel is known as the leading organizer of international sports drivers' courses for demanding drivers all over the world. It concerns the ideal line, driving physics and aspects of safety. Driving a car should be fast, but also safe and certainly without trembling hands.
It is not only the tuition of profound knowledge by prestigious instructors but also the informal contact between participants (new friendships included) which make the difference. "We do have a long-term philosophy" Gudrun Pauli said. "A great number of our participants is already known to us for many years. It is due to this that it is important for us to get long-term contracts at the Nürburgring."
