Our courses in the usual way consist of a combination of section training and free driving. During the usual three driving days you will get to know the entire Nürburgring circuit.
No other course format is suited better for first-time participants in order to memorize the track route of the Nordschleife. But also for repeaters and Nordschleife routiniers who want to improve their skills in individual passages, our training format is perfectly suited. Because you repeat the same passage again and again at short intervals and receive sound feedback from our professional instructors.
Our experience has shown that the majority of participants who have so far only taken part in pure "Follow-Me" courses are not sufficiently prepared when driving the Nordschleife on their own and without orientation to the person in front.
For given reasons - e.g. COVID 19 restrictions - we reserve the right to make flexible changes to the usual course format. As far as possible, you will be informed of the details when you make your booking. In any case, we will teach you to drive more safely!
As the track is divided into 10 sections and the participants are also divided into 10 groups, each group drives a different section at the same time.
In each section two to four instructors wait for a group of participants to take care of them for 90 minutes.
Each section is driven several times. On the return trip within the section participants will receive direct feedback from the instructors: What was good and what can be improved.
After the 90 minutes are over, the groups move on to the next section.
On the first and second day of the course, two sections will be driven in the morning and two in the afternoon. On the third day of the course only two sections in the morning.
In our course first time participants will be given special support by our coaches.
In addition there are two time slots available to first timers on welcome day in order to complete their first exercises in the "Safety Driving Centre at the Nürburgring".
Also there will be a "Briefing for first time participants" before the "Briefing for all" which will familiarize first timers with the course.
Please see the "Follow-Me for first-time participants" as described above.
